Red White and Blue Bird
Red White and Blue Bird
In the upcoming election for the President of the United States of America, there are a few things that I would like people would consider. One may ask themselves, "What direction do I want to see the country move into?". This should no longer be a question of party lines, or how much you like an individual's personality when on stage. The left, the right, the slander, the show, I urge people to look past all of it. The movement as of right now, seems like more of the same, the military-industrial complex with the help of certain public servants, fabricating reasons to perpetuate the same cycle. I look at the movement within the two party system and honestly, I want to see some form of effort to change this pattern. The left-wing doesn't seem to have any legitimate strategy to do that. Good politicians or not, there is nothing new being discussed or fought for. Same players, same game, to prolong a system that makes the money wheel turn. And hey, who doesn't like making money, I understand it. Unfortunately, it's an old tune. The right has some promising movement happening. Good politicians or not, they seem to acknowledge that the system needs some form of overhaul. Bringing in the private sector to evaluate efficiency, bringing in other presidential candidates that were in different parties for their legal prowis, this is behavior that shows me that not one of them think they have an answer, but that they realize that more broad ideas and evaluation are needed to make any real change. The tunnel vision that has been American politics is truly limiting people's ability to think critically about their position and it has deterred truly brilliant individuals from getting into the political system. Whether you are on the Left or the Right, politics is about discussing and creating efficient systems to be of service and safety to the country's citizens. Both parties have forgotten that the left wing and the right wing are parts of the same bird, and that big beautiful red white, and blue American spirit bird needs both wings to fly. Or it truly is a fantastical play on the world stage. Either way, I want to see a different direction take place for our country. Good, bad, or indifferent, the current system is causing a divide among the citizens that should be responsible for holding the system up. How can we do that when there is a fundamental divide within the American mindset that is based on polarization of the system instead of unification of the system? Competition should inspire growth and abundance, it is only hate and ignorance that cause division. Thank you for your time and consideration of my words.
